Join me walking the tracks and footpaths, near my studio in SW Suffolk - where I work as an artist, illustrator and printmaker - or wherever I travel, in the UK or further afield.
I walk and look, gathering ideas for my work and observing the plants, wildlife, crops, landmarks and anything interesting I happen to stumble over or bump into along the way.

The title of my blog, 'Herbationes' is borrowed from the Swedish botanist Carl Linneaus, who taught his students to observe and learn on walking routes in the countryside which he called his 'Herbationes Uppsaliensis'.
